PC GAMING ON LINUX IS SO TOMORROW

Linux.
I was a young teenager in the late 90s, browsing the aisles of the local Babbage’s (before it became GameStop), having somehow convinced my dad, not a lover of games, that we needed something to test the new CD-ROM drive.…                 , , ,               , , , ,.
It’s all good in the fighting game neighborhood.

and now we can add another to that list with Injustice 2, with a customized version…                 , , ,               , , , , , ,.

It has been a while we did not get in touch with Ethan Lee directly

also know as ‘flibitjibibo’ on the interwebs.

There’s something that caught my eye with Drauger OS as I was browsing my Reddit feed one day.
It was an article from It’s FOSS, describing what the OS is all about.
Going to the distro’s site, the About page…                 , ,               , , , ,                    An Interview with Peter Mulholland, ex-VP.

But we ought not discount… Continue Reading                 , , , , , , VP              Airline Tycoon, Amiga, Antergos, Bohemia Interactive, Cyberpunk 2077, , Fedora (operating system), , Linker (computing), , , , , Mesa (computer graphics), , Peter Mulholland, Portable Executable, , RuneSoft, , , , , , The Feeble Files, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, , , , , Video game publisher, , ,                    .

MoltenVK brings Vulkan to macOS

February 28, .

2018      Leave a Comment                                 Vulkan is a great graphics API

It had a little problem, namely adoption.

Apple did not support Vulkan in any way

instead recommending developers for macOS and iOS devices to use Metal, their home-made API.
For games developers, this meant… Continue Reading                               , , IOS, , , , , , , , , ,                    .

Feral is Working on Another Total War

February 27.

2018      Leave a Comment                                 Yup

and it’s not (unfortunately?) Rome II.
Feral has just announced a few days ago they will be released a macOS and Linux port for Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia, shortly after the Windows release due April 19.

A… Continue Reading                 Feral Interactive

February 27, 2018      5 Comments                                 While it was certainly looking like a scam at some point (accepting money, with no prototype at all, and uber-optimistic hardware delivery timelines), it looks like the Smach Z project is making some serious progress.

They have announced the final… Continue Reading

Since GOG started having a dedicated person to be the face of their Linux support not too long ago (the so-called linuxvangog on Reddit and Twitter), we thought it would be worth asking checking out what’s happening and if anything…                 ,               , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,.
